18th Annual Golf Tournament - Another Great Event in Support of Coats' Disease Patients
The 18th Annual Jack McGovern Coats' Disease Foundation Golf Tournament and Dinner recently wrapped up, marking yet another successful chapter in the Foundation's mission to raise awareness and funds for Coats' Disease research. Held at Crystal Springs Golf Course in Burlingame, CA, the tournament attracted a roster of enthusiastic golfers, community leaders, and supporters dedicated to combating this rare eye disease.
This year’s event featured a beautiful course layout, perfect weather, and a series of competitive yet friendly rounds. The cocktail reception and dinner provided guests the opportunity to hear from one of the world’s top retina specialists, Dr. Tom Lee, as well as the Montesinos Family, whose son, Marcello, battles Coats’ Disease.
The tournament not only provided an excellent platform for spreading awareness and raising critical funds for the Foundation. This event continues to provide a growing impact of our Foundation’s work and its pivotal role in advancing the fight against Coats' Disease.
As the sun set on another memorable tournament, the Jack McGovern Coats' Disease Foundation team expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants, sponsors, and volunteers. Their dedication ensures that crucial research and patient care continue to make strides, bringing hope to those affected by this rare disease.
