Our Foundation Establishes National Tissue Biobank with the Wilmer Eye Institute

A first-of-its-kind partnership focused on Coats’ Disease research.

We are very pleased to announce that we have donated to the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins, to establish the Jack McGovern Coats’ Disease Foundation National Tissue Biobank. The tissue biobank will be accessible to researchers who are exploring the causes for Coats’ Disease and other eye disorders to identify treatments that will limit vision loss and may lead to a cure.

The Foundation’s mission is to find a cure for Coats’ Disease. We believe that to accomplish this, we must seek out and fund research opportunities. Please see the press release.
