Joe Vollert is the Vice President of Advancement at St. Ignatius College Preparatory (SI), in San Francisco, California. An alumnus of St. Ignatius, Mr. Vollert began his tenure with the school in 1988 as a teacher and football coach and was promoted to his present position in 2005. Joe oversees the school’s Communication, Events, Development and Alumni teams and is responsible for identifying support for the school’s strategic needs. Those initiatives include securing support for a new middle school, the Fr. Sauer Academy, which SI recently established for low-income scholars on the SI campus; financing major renovations to its campus; and building SI’s Scholarship Endowment Fund in order to provide financial aid to qualified students who could not otherwise attend St. Ignatius.
Mr. Vollert received a BA in English from Santa Clara University and attended San Francisco State University at the graduate level to earn his Teaching Credential. He also earned a Certificate from the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Program in Leadership.
Joe and his wife Stacy live in San Mateo, California. Their three children, Cecilia, Andrew, and Brian, all attended St. Ignatius.
